Fire Fighter is responsible for rapid response to fires, accidents, and other emergencies to protect people, property, and the environment. Works with firefighting teams to control and extinguish fires and safely manage hazardous materials. Being a Fire Fighter performs search and rescue, responds to auto accidents, and provides emergency medical services. Uses and operates fire tools, equipment and apparatus as effectively and safely as possible. Additionally, Fire Fighter performs routine maintenance and inspection of firefighting equipment and gear to ensure proper condition and preparedness for emergencies. Prepares post-incident reports as required. May participate in fire safety education and inspection activities. Typically is required to pass periodic physical ability tests. May require registry in NREMT. May require an associate degree in fire science. Requires Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fire Fighter works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Fire-Matic Systems is involved in each part of the fire sprinkler system from estimating, designing, permitting, installing and inspections of the systems. We are seeking individuals with experience installing fire sprinkler systems and knowledge of all aspects of the installation process. Our projects consist of commercial and industrial buildings, high rises and residential projects. We look for people that are reloadable, dependable, have good communication skills and take pride in their work.

Dutes:
� Installation of Fire Suppression systems.
� Maintain proper documentation for work performed.
� Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
� Follow verbal and written instructions.
� Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 60 pounds
� Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions; such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment.
� Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Qualifications:
� Three to five years of experience in commercial fir sprinkler/suppression installation and testing.
� Must be able to read blueprints.
� Strong organizational skills, positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly.
� Capable of performing physical labor.
� Must perform all duties in a safe and professional manner.
� Ability to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local Codes.
