Fire Extinguisher / Suppression Apprentice

Unifour Fire & Safety, a Southeastern leader in full-service fire protection inspections and repair, has an immediate entry level position for a Fire Extinguisher & Suppression Apprentice. Job Duties:

• Will train under a seasoned and licensed individual to learn the aspects of Fire system inspections, service, and repairs.
• Candidate will learn fire codes, procedures for service & inspection and company culture of service
• There will be milestones, training classes and testing during the first 3 years – pay will increase when each milestone is reached
• Ability to use iPad & common knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel)
• Maintain safe and secure work environment by following safe practices
• Maintain records by documenting installation, service and testing
• Interacting with clients in the field to ensure the work is being completed properly and timely
• Able to work unsupervised and highly self-motivated and detail oriented

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Must pass a drug screen & background check
• Strong work ethic, professional attitude, honest & hard working
• Must be able to push, pull, lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to use iPad/Common Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel)
• Must be comfortable with heights, working on ladders or lifts, or in confined spaces.
• High School diploma or equivalent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
