Shipping & Receiving Clerk
North American Fire Hose (NAFH) has three (3) different warehouses within the Santa Maria city limits, and thus is looking for an associate to assist in the moving of materials between or various facilities.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience driving trucks as large as 26 feet long, with a clean driving record, and certified forklift training. Although transporting materials between the warehouses is the primary role of this position, the bulk of the time actually spent by this position will be organizing materials (typically using a fork lift or pallet jack), loading and unloading of materials to be transported between warehouses, and the loading and unloading of materials either being delivered to NAFH or being shipped out to customers from one of the warehouses.
Employee attendance is very important, as is a positive quality focus. Candidates need to be able to work independently, and be prepared to record which materials are being received, shipped or transferred to help insure accurate inventory accounting.
