Fire Inspector Supervisor oversees the inspection of fire-damaged dwellings to determine cause and prevention. Enforces a variety of fire laws, regulations, and policies. Being a Fire Inspector Supervisor requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Fire Inspector Supervisor relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Essential Responsibilities:
- Attend company and client status meetings as required.
- Works closely with internal groups, design, permit and manage construction of new fiber network.
- Monitors infrastructure builds and reviews and approves work that has met customer’s construction standards.
- Provide detailed daily/weekly reports.
- Will meet with contractors, permitting agencies, Engineering firms, customers, other OSP engineers and vendors to coordinate/mitigate projects.
- Utilizes a variety of systems for the processing and reporting of work activities, documentation of projects
- Manage employees/subcontractors
- Experience with OTDR testing and interpreting results a plus.
