Fire Inspector Supervisor oversees the inspection of fire-damaged dwellings to determine cause and prevention. Enforces a variety of fire laws, regulations, and policies. Being a Fire Inspector Supervisor requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Fire Inspector Supervisor relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance and feedback as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient guest services and smooth operations
- Manage inventory and order supplies necessary for housekeeping duties
- Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure they meet quality standards
- Handle guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff by enforcing safety guidelines and protocols
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Proven experience in supervising and leading a team
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and best practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, guests, and other departments
- Proficient in using computer software for scheduling, inventory management, and reporting
