This position involves supervising a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, and coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders to execute projects effectively. The Fire Sprinkler Field Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the proper functioning and safety of fire protection systems.


    Responsibilities:

    • Team Supervision and Leadership:
      • Directly supervise a team of fire sprinkler technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary.
      • Allocate tasks, manage work schedules, and ensure the team's adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
    • Project Management:
      • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in commercial, residential, and industrial settings.
      • Plan and organize project timelines, resources, and materials required for successful completion.
    • Compliance and Regulations:
      • Ensure all installations, maintenance, and repairs meet local, state, and national fire and safety codes and regulations.
      • Stay updated on evolving codes and industry standards, implementing necessary changes in procedures or practices.
    • Quality Assurance and Inspections:
      • Conduct regular inspections to verify the quality and functionality of installed or repaired fire sprinkler systems.
      • Address any deficiencies or issues, providing technical guidance and expertise to ensure corrective actions are taken.
    • Client Communication and Coordination:
      • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
      • Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and other departments for effective project execution.
    • Documentation and Reporting:
      • Maintain accurate project records, including installation details, inspections, maintenance logs, and any changes or modifications made to systems.
      • Prepare reports detailing project status, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented.
    • Training and Development:
      • Conduct or facilitate training sessions for the team to ensure they are updated on new technologies, safety measures, and best practices in the field.
    • Resource Management:
      • Manage inventory levels of equipment, tools, and materials necessary for installation and maintenance activities.
      • Monitor and optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.

    Qualifications:

    • Several years of experience in fire sprinkler system installation, maintenance, or a related field.
    • Profound knowledge of fire safety codes, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
    • Strong technical expertise in fire sprinkler systems and their components.
    • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
    • Organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
