Fire Inspector Supervisor oversees the inspection of fire-damaged dwellings to determine cause and prevention. Enforces a variety of fire laws, regulations, and policies. Being a Fire Inspector Supervisor requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Fire Inspector Supervisor relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.     As a Fire Inspector, you will be supporting the PMG GTSC Group in conducting plan reviews, inspections, and field tests on fire alarms, fire sprinklers, and fire suppression systems to ensure compliance with all applicable fire and life safety codes.

    The position will be based in our SBMA, Zambales office.

    Our salary range for this position is based on the market data, Php 250 to Php 350 per hour  (the range varies depending on experience and qualifications).

    Key responsibilities:

    • Conduct fire and safety inspections as required within the project site
    • Response to reports of fire hazards evaluates conditions, identifies potential hazards, and recommends the appropriate corrective action as required
    • Document and maintain complete and accurate records of all inspections and any regulatory actions taken, including preparing written reports and correspondence, and issuing notices to correct code violations
    • Perform in-house fire inspection/safety procedures training on a need/request basis
    • Responsible for meeting client expectations while performing quality inspection
    • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.        

    Qualifications To be successful in the role:

    • Must possess an NFPA certificate
    • Bachelor’s degree in  engineering or related field
    • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fire Inspector
    • Must have in-depth knowledge of and experience implementing NFPA and UFC requirements
    • Must have experience conducting technical inspections on buildings for code compliance. Must be certified as Fire Inspector III.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
