Fire Inspector Supervisor oversees the inspection of fire-damaged dwellings to determine cause and prevention. Enforces a variety of fire laws, regulations, and policies. Being a Fire Inspector Supervisor requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Fire Inspector Supervisor relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Fire Sprinkler Designer

  • RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design automatic fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, foam, and fire pumps)
    • Compile and prepare plan submittals (shop drawings) and material submittals for review by architects, engineers, clients
    • Perform on-site surveys & job walks as needed
    • Coordinate sprinkler design with existing structure and other MEP subcontractors
    • Communicate with Estimating and other departments to optimize design efficiency for fabrication and installation of systems
    • Perform hydraulic calculations for fire sprinkler systems
    • Detail the design for fabrication and prepare installation drawings
    • Prepare “as-built” drawings for in-house archive and client files

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Three to five years related experience or equivalent preferred.
    • Thorough knowledge of fire sprinkler design & installation principles.
    • NICET I-II in Water Based Systems Layout
    • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
    • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.
    • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite AutoCAD, Revit, HydroCAD.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
