Job description
Hopkins County Fire Extinguisher, is seeking a licensed Fire Extinguisher (FEL type a or b) technician. Work will involve inspections, testing, maintenance, service and installation of various types of fixed and portable fire extinguisher.
Job Responsibilities
Performance of daily, weekly, monthly and/or annual inspections and preventative maintenance services on various extinguishers. Repair, replace, and tag all fire extinguishers, do hand written inspection reports, as well as all paperwork relating to assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Possess an understanding of NFPA and building and fire codes
Able to communicate effectively; both verbally and written
Valid drivers license
Own transportation
Job is commission based and can be discussed at interview
Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
