Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Fire Prevention Engineer is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. We are hiring a Fire Extinguisher Shop Technician to work in our service shop testing and recharging fire extinguishers and fire suppression system tanks.
All training provided. If you are willing to learn we are willing to teach!
Requirements
- Ability to work with their hands and possess mechanical skills. Some fire suppression industry experience would be helpful but not necessary.
- Ability to regularly lift or carry up to 50 pounds and work standing during the shift.
- Shift hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with an hour lunch break.
- Must have a valid driver's license and provide a clean driving record with the ability to operate a company work vehicle on occasion.
- Able to pass and provide a pre-employment background and drug test.
