All Huntington personnel are expected to be able to teach. Once training has been completed, the following is a list of potential areas of responsibility for the Center Director. At Huntington in Anderson, all staff members have input into their specific roles.
Summary: The Center Director reports to the Operations Manager, and is responsible for meeting revenue, operational, and marketing goals at the Center, principally by managing the Center’s Subject Tutoring, ACT, and other standardized test-related educational activities.
All training is paid.
Teach any or all of the four ACT subjects – or learn the programs in detail.-
Manage all aspects of Subject Tutoring and Exam Prep instruction, including supervision of program prescription, initial program, program revision, instruction, interim testing, and student progress.

Monitor all Subject Tutoring and Exam Prep student instructional programs and Student Permanent Folders. Ensure all student paperwork is thorough and up-to-date. Review each student’s instructional program at least once per week.

Coordinate Interim Testing for each Exam Prep student. Conduct or oversee LCOS input.

Maintain detailed knowledge of Huntington Exam Prep curriculum and operations. Transmit changes to teachers and staff.

Perform all administrative tasks as they relate to Subject Tutoring and Exam Prep programs.

Conduct initial inquiries and consultations.

Conduct Exam Prep Initial Conferences and Interim Conferences.

Conduct Subject Tutoring Consultations and Interim Conferences.

Speak with students and parents before, during, and after instruction. Discuss student progress with parents during ICs and informal waiting room meetings.

Communicate to the Center Director about any Subject Tutoring or Exam Prep student learning or behavioral issues.

Monitor Subject Tutoring and Exam Prep inventory. Communicate ordering needs to the Center Director.

Communicate to the Center Director about any Subject Tutoring or Exam Prep student learning or behavioral issues.

Assist in the process of hiring, training, managing, motivating, observing, and evaluating part-time Subject Tutoring and Exam Prep teachers.

Meet with school personnel about their students we are instructing.
