    Responsibilities Include:

    • Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines to ensure the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.
    • Provide leadership and motivation to nursing team, foster growth and development; provide continued education opportunities.
    • Collaborate and communicate with healthcare professionals and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans for residents.
    • Provide guidance, monitor, and evaluate all aspects of patient care including assisting with assessments, planning, and evaluation of patients to ensure the best practices and high-quality service delivery.
    • Develop, monitor, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives and facility policy and procedures for nursing department.
    • Participate in staff hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
    • Promote and lead a positive culture of teamwork, fun atmosphere, innovative ideas, and open communication among all staff members.

    Requirements:

    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska.
    • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with a focus on long-term care and/or rehabilitation.
    • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices as well as state and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines related to long-term care facilities.
    • Minimum of 2 years supervisory/management experience.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license.
    • Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility, which include a physical examination.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to successfully collaborate with others and utilize leadership to motivate and guide the nursing team a diverse team.
    • Ability to work as a team, great collaboration.
    • Pass applicable background checks.
