JOB TITLE: Fitness Center Associate
REPORTS TO: Health and Wellness Coordinator/Director
FLSA TYPE: Non-Exempt
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
To monitor the fitness center at all times while positively supporting the YMCA and its mission. Contribute to creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, by maintaining a neat, clean and safe environment. Proper maintenance and care of equipment, including regular cleaning is also a necessary and answer member questions or concerns at all times.
Schedule: Varies during the hours of operation of the YMCA

Increase member retention through communication, motivation and support to members. See that all members have access to a professionally conducted health screening, exercise prescription, appropriate equipment orientation and program re-evaluation.
