- Helping members set and achieve goals
- Making sure members are using correct form and offering corrections
- Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate-focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing
- Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
- Being a team player
Additionally, you’ll need to meet these requirements:- Being AED/CPR certified – required
- At least 1 year of experience as a personal trainer or group fitness instructor
- Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness, such as:
- National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA)
- American Council on Exercise (ACE)
- American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
- Aerobics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA)
- National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
- National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF)
Job Type: Variable Hour Employee – Part-time & Full-time hours availableHours per week: 20-40, 25 or more preferredCompensation: You will be paid an hourly rate of $12.00 for administrative time including, not limited to meetings, continuing education, and community outreach events. The hourly rate is for non-class time hours. For classes coached, you will be paid based on OTF tenure and class attendance between $25 to $55 per class.Benefits & Perks:- Opportunities for advancement!
