Fitness Instructor coordinates all fitness programs for a facility. Organizes and instructs exercise classes for all fitness levels. Being a Fitness Instructor ensures that all participants are properly trained on the use of the facility's exercise equipment. Responsible for making sure that the exercise area and equipment are safe and clean. Additionally, Fitness Instructor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Fitness Instructor typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Dance Instructor - Bentonville, AR Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness Center Part-time; 1-5 classes/week Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness Center, managed by HealthFitness is looking for Dance Instructors to join our growing team. In this position, you will provide fun, effective and safe dance class to members participating in the program. This is a position teaching 1-5 classes per week. What you'll need to have Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty dance class certification required. Adult/child/infant CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire. 2 years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred. Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
