Fitness Instructor jobs in Boise, ID
Fitness Instructor coordinates all fitness programs for a facility. Organizes and instructs exercise classes for all fitness levels. Being a Fitness Instructor ensures that all participants are properly trained on the use of the facility's exercise equipment. Responsible for making sure that the exercise area and equipment are safe and clean. Additionally, Fitness Instructor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Fitness Instructor typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. - To be considered, a minimum of 1 year of experience as a personal fitness trainer is a must, and your availability on weekends is a big plus.
- Your character, care, and communication skills are highly valued, and your energetic and attentive approach is absolutely essential.
- Understanding the nuances of functional movement, HIIT, Strength, Power, and Endurance training programs aligns perfectly with our training philosophy.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills are not just expected but celebrated, and if you're comfortable with public speaking, that's a definite bonus.
- Plus, if you're adept at utilizing social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook to engage with our community, that's a valuable advantage.
- Hold nationally accredited fitness certifications like NSA, ACE, ACSM, PTA Global, NASM, or AFAA, and maintaining current CPR/First Aid/AED certification is a must. Additionally, group training certification is requir

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
