PROGRAM ANALYST

  • Duties

    • You will serve as the Hull Test Manager for a LPD 17 Ship Class hull with the responsibility for managing to completion all applicable Hull Industrial Testing as identified by the Test Index.
    • You will manage test progress metrics and test report completion through the CDRL review and approval process.
    • You will review ship specifications to determine adequacy of test program to assure operational performance of ship conforms to contract specifications, Operational Requirements Document (ORD), and Test/Evaluation Master Plans.
    • You will provide program management oversight for group of Government, civilian and military subject matter experts to witness shipboard test events in support of LPD 17 Program Class ships.
    • You will work with contractors and government test witnesses to coordinate shipboard testing and resolve disputes.
    • You will manage the Industrial Test Schedule and test program, and coordinate with Post Delivery Test and Trials Manager, Post Delivery Hull Manager, and ship's force to ensure proper testing is conducted and documented.
    • You will perform program management functions and technical services to accomplish the program objectives; interface with project sponsors through meetings, written or verbal reports, personal visits and project reviews.

    • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

    Qualifications

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (or GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and coordinating shipboard testing events to identify issues and recommend process improvements for a surface ship program.
