Fleet Administrator assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. The purpose of the CRS Fleet Administrator is to provide optimal fleet utilization for the Yancey Rents Division. The Fleet Administrator performs multiple duties related to fleet acquisition and performance, vendor performance and internal customer service to achieve the greatest return on investment for Yancey Rents. To be effective, the Fleet Coordinator must establish an understanding of the following objectives and accountabilities.
To be successful in this position you should be able to understand the different products and features we rent and be able to work closely with the Fleet team to insure fleet availability. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.
