Curtze Food Service in Erie, PA, seeks a third-shift full-time Fleet Mechanic to maintain the company fleet. This position will focus on preventative maintenance and emergent work orders to maintain 70 diesel semi-trucks, trailers, and other gas-powered vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on all types of vehicles
• Preventative maintenance focused on diesel and gas-powered vehicles
• Refrigerated trailer maintenance
• Basic wiring and lighting
• Prioritize emergent work orders
• Maintain tools and work areas
• Pick up and deliver vehicles

Qualifications:

• 1 years of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Thermo King experience a plus
• Valid CDL Class A Driver's license preferred (will be required to obtain Class A license via on-the-job training)

Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 P.M. - 6:30 A.M.

Wage: $22 - $25 negotiable on skill level
