Colonial Behavioral Health serves the citizens of James City County, City of Poquoson, City of Williamsburg, and York County.

We are currently recruiting for a Fleet Specialist position within our Community Services/Transportation program. This position works is responsible for coordination the agency vehicle maintenance to include: routine vehicle maintenance, vehicle repair, safety maintenance, and cleaning vehicles. 

Job Responsibilities

• Assists with maintaining an agency fleet listing that is current and up to date regarding VIN numbers, license plate numbers, vehicle description, program usage, accrued mileage, etc.
• Maintains vehicle maintenance schedule in accordance with documented vehicle mileage information.
• Monitors vehicle safety recall notices when received to ensure needed repairs, etc. are performed to maintain the safety of the vehicle.
• Train all levels of agency personnel as needed regarding the usage of agency vehicles and related policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned.

Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.;  

Evening & Weekend hours may be required based on program needs.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to meet deadlines of regularly scheduled vehicle maintenance jobs and maintain documentation of completed vehicle maintenance and vehicle mileage.
• Ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of the materials, methods and practices used in vehicle and facility repair and maintenance.
• One year of experience operating a minibus or large passenger vehicles for individuals with disabilities required.  
• Valid driver’s license is required.  
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
