Being a Fleet Administrator prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. The Fleet Administrator is to provide administrative support to the organization. Must have excellent communication skills, be diligent and extremely detail-oriented, well organized, possess proficient computer skills, and work well in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
The Fleet Administrator will oversee operational, performance and overall roadworthiness standards of the NPP fleet of approximately 350 vehicles, while ensuring the operations team has sufficient operational and spare vehicles to support budgeted and/or acquired cleaning and repair routes across NPP branches in three states.
The Fleet Administrator will support and have the support of the VP, local branch representatives, and NPP fleet partners (Enterprise, Wex, Azuga, Truce) to accomplish objectives. The objectives can be successfully and continuously accomplished through the application of 15-40 hours a week across analysis, coordination and communication originating out of NPP Corporate Office in Tampa, FL and corresponding to branch relations, fleet partners and various reporting tools. Applied hours will vary based on cyclical and random variables influencing vehicle roadworthiness by branch and region. The Fleet Administrator is a key employee and must ensure fleet related tasks are carried out in an appropriate, compliant and cost-effective manner.
After a period of acclimation and mastery of fleet administration, the Fleet Administrator will benefit from cross-training in other functions including purchasing and light financial analysis, or other operational areas of interest in support of centralized asset management.

Compensation This hourly position is paid weekly. Starting pay will depend on experience. Starting $21.00/hour.
