Fleet Administrator, Sr. assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator, Sr. prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator, Sr. may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. The Fleet Administrator for Telematics provides support to the Fleet Department for the overall configuration, maintenance, and health of Rain for Rent’s telematic and IoT systems. The role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and is expected to make suggestions to drive efficiency. The individual will work closely with the product line managers, engineers, technicians, and branch management to ensure optimal functionality and governance of the telematic/IoT solutions; will analyze solution data to determine corrective actions needed in support of data quality expectations and reporting deliverables; and will be the primary point of contact to provide HMI training and escalated support to end users.
The incumbent will recommend, develop, and implement new approaches, polices, procedures, and training to effect continual improvements in efficiency and cost savings.
