Fleet Administrator, Sr. jobs in Charlotte, NC

Fleet Administrator, Sr. assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator, Sr. prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator, Sr. may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     • Ensures that funds are available on all operations toll accounts, and allocates charges for tolls appropriately. 
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Other Skills & Requirements:
    • High School diploma or GED. 
    • Knowledge/experience with TMW and TMT platforms is a plus.
    • Technical skills: troubleshoot computer systems, software, and hardware. Create and update databases, and manage and track data and company records. 
    • Communication skills: the ability to communicate with customers and operations staff and resolve issues. 
    • Problem-solving skills: working with multiple departments and teams to ensure the company’s fleet is operating effectively. Finding solutions to software, hardware, or fleet issues. 
    • Organizational skills: Managing a variety of records, including vehicle maintenance records, insurance information, and other important documents. 
    • Leadership skills: responsible for managing records pertaining to the company’s fleet equipment.
