Fleet Administrator, Sr. jobs in Meriden, CT
Fleet Administrator, Sr. assists in administrating and coordinating motor vehicle fleet operations. Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Being a Fleet Administrator, Sr. prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting. Coordinates repairs and preventative maintenance scheduling that support fleet vehicle availability requirements. Additionally, Fleet Administrator, Sr. may assist with safety training and communication programs. May require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fleet Administrator, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Description: Due to continued growth we are currently seeking to add a Sr. Systems Administrator to our team! Sr. System Administrators at Charles IT primarily serve as the top tier of technical escalations and are the architects of custom client projects, while performing the job functions below.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Design, implement and support cloud infrastructure
- Provide support and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues for end users
- Support of Microsoft-related technologies: Windows Server, Office 365/Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
- Support of virtual environments including VMware and Hyper-V
- Support backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Configure, install, and support various network devices and services, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, & security
- Liaise with third-party vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Effectively communicate with customers on ticket progress, impending changes, or agreed outages, etc.
- Maintain strong client system documentation to include system reviews and recommendations
- Maintain daily documentation by entering time, expenses, and all work as service tickets in ConnectWise
