POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for inspecting, cleaning, preparing and staging trailers for route or repair.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

• Check Reefer Fluid levels Oil / Coolant
• Wash Truck exterior as scheduled
• Wash Trailer Exterior / Interior as Scheduled and Deodorize Trailer
• Spray/Wash out Reefer Units as needed
• Report Equipment Damage to Supervisor
• Document fuel gallons used by unit daily
• Document equipment washed daily
• Check fluids on yard truck daily
• Assist fleet mechanics with basic maintenance
• Performs other job duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One-year related experience and/or training
• System Implementation Preferred
• Mechanically inclined
• Understanding of safety guidelines
• Dependable, responsible team player.
• Ability to operate a power washer and other cleaning equipment
• Ability to use a ladder
• Ability to work independently
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
