$20 - $26 hourly

• Supervise and coordinate the programs for assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles & tool inventories
• Assist with vehicle and trailer acquisition
• Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicles to minimize vehicle downtime
• Monitoring drivers to ensure adherence to proper driving practices
• Assist in the registration and licensing of all vehicles
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspections
• Ensure all fleet drivers have proper licensing and up-to-date training
• Preparing and providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance, and fleet progress
• Assist purchasing/renting vehicles as needed to expand/enhance fleet
• Assist with the purchasing of parts/tools for vehicles
• Maintaining safety, tool, and supply inventory
• On call for emergency rescue & recovery coordination

• Safety sensitive position
• Experience with fleet
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of basic vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are needed
• Exceptional organizational skills, time management and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with transportation/maintenance management software
• Knowledge of state and DOT regulations
• Proficient in basic computer software and can quickly learn to use new programs
