Fleet Manager manages the acquisition, operations, and maintenance of the organization's fleet of motor vehicles. Oversees scheduling and dispatch operations for vehicles and drivers. Being a Fleet Manager evaluates, purchases, leases, and disposes of vehicles to maintain the fleet. Develops and maintains vendor and service provider relationships for fuel, maintenance, and other essential services. Additionally, Fleet Manager administers insurance policy coverage, negotiates agreements, and participates in claim resolution. Develops and implements safety, preventive maintenance, and accident prevention programs. Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Manages the fleet expense reporting and budgets. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Fleet Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer with a passion for renewable energy to lead clients, projects, and portfolios as a Project Manager. The Project Manager will work closely with our core renewables team and will manage project responsibilities of multi-discipline teams and projects throughout the northeast.
Qualified candidates will excel at contributing to all phases of Renewable Energy and other Civil Engineering projects including the development of schematic drawings, working within teams in a collaborative manner, producing effective and high-quality drawings to be issued for construction, steering projects through the municipal or state approval process, and supporting projects throughout construction as they progress to commissioning. The ability to communicate effectively using verbal, graphic, and written means is paramount and a necessity for this position.
In addition, the Project Manager will assist with proposal writing and business development, and manage mid-level and entry-level staff.
