Fleet Manager manages the acquisition, operations, and maintenance of the organization's fleet of motor vehicles. Oversees scheduling and dispatch operations for vehicles and drivers. Being a Fleet Manager evaluates, purchases, leases, and disposes of vehicles to maintain the fleet. Develops and maintains vendor and service provider relationships for fuel, maintenance, and other essential services. Additionally, Fleet Manager administers insurance policy coverage, negotiates agreements, and participates in claim resolution. Develops and implements safety, preventive maintenance, and accident prevention programs. Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Manages the fleet expense reporting and budgets. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Fleet Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Fleet Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure company policy and Brand Quality Standards are followed.
    • Optimize profits by controlling food, beverage and labor costs.
    • Training and developing new hourly team members.
    • Increasing sales by ensuring responsible and efficient operations
    • Maintain an overall management style in accordance with our established best practices.
    • Provide leadership and direction to all team leaders and team members to ensure efficient operation.

    • Complete all tasks assigned by General Manager on time.
    • Must be 18 years of age, with a minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience
    • Has strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant.
    • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
    • Must have ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions
    • Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
    • Passion for the business and compassion for people
    • Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to recruit, develop and motivate team members.

    • Must be able to create fun in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
    • Typically works under general supervision and reports to a GM.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience; Associate’s degree preferred
    • 1 years of restaurant leadership experience preferred
    • Driving is essential for this position so a valid driver’s license with liability insurance, a good driving record and a satisfactory background check is required
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills along with the ability to motivate a team
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with strong leadership skills
    • Knowledge of back-of-house systems, point-of-sale systems, restaurant operating systems, budgetary concepts and procedures, performance review process and more
    • Food Handlers Certification
    • Food Safety Certification (requirement may vary based on city, county or state)

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to stand during entire shift
    • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, and push on occasion
    • Must be able to read (orders on tickets, menu board, receipts, etc.)
    • Frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, cleaning and sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood, and produce items
    • Frequent washing of hands
    • Must be able to use computers, telephones, and office equipment
