Fleet Manager manages the acquisition, operations, and maintenance of the organization's fleet of motor vehicles. Oversees scheduling and dispatch operations for vehicles and drivers. Being a Fleet Manager evaluates, purchases, leases, and disposes of vehicles to maintain the fleet. Develops and maintains vendor and service provider relationships for fuel, maintenance, and other essential services. Additionally, Fleet Manager administers insurance policy coverage, negotiates agreements, and participates in claim resolution. Develops and implements safety, preventive maintenance, and accident prevention programs. Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements. Manages the fleet expense reporting and budgets. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Fleet Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Job Description:
We are seeking experienced automotive technicians to join our team. ASE certification is a plus but not required if you have extensive work history in the industry. As a critical role in our company's success, you will play a key part in building and maintaining our fleet service operations.
Responsibilities:

- Manage your teams to ensure work is carried out effectively and efficiently to the highest standards.
- Ensure parts are getting sourced in a timely manner to keep your operations running and revenue flowing.
- Visits new client sites prior to launch and identify what the client needs are and comes up with a logistical plan for a seamless operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including diagnostics, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in developing and implementing new processes to improve efficiency and quality of service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and diagnostics.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- ASE certification is a plus but not required with extensive industry work history.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
