OUR CURRENT NEED:

We are looking for a qualified QA Technician to ensure the quality and safety of our food packaging products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent - additional technical or quality-related certifications a plus.
• Proven experience as a QA Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food packaging.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, methods, and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and communicate deviations from quality standards.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings clearly.
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Perform routine inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct visual and physical tests on packaging materials, including seal integrity, print quality.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and address quality issues, providing timely feedback and recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality testing results, inspection findings, and corrective actions taken.
• Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
• Assist in the investigation of customer complaints and non-conforming products, contributing to root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and other relevant industry regulations.
• Conduct calibration and verification of testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to walk on a regular basis throughout our facility.
