Position Overview

In this role, the employee will be assisting in carrying out FBC’s Compliance Management System. They will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating elements of the origination process for potential weaknesses/emerging risks. As a Compliance/QC Analyst, you will exercise discretion and independent judgement with matters of significance as it relates to investigative reviews, remediation, and rules/regulations.

Essential Job Functions

• Targeted reviews of closing documents/disclosures
• Targeted file reviews on specific state findings that come up in audits
• Investigative loan level review of files, as needed

• Compliance monitoring/research for state specific or federal inquires, as needed
• Stay up to date with State and Federal rules and regulations
• Knowledge and understanding of loan level detail including disclosures and related mortgage documentation
• Creation and maintenance of job aids, matrices, process flow charts, etc.

• Corrective Action Plan Tracking
• Assist examination response team

• Run reports, perform data analysis, and present supporting data in final review of findings

• Other duties to support department as assigned, this may include, but is not limited to sending out reverifications on loans that are being audited for QC

Essential Experience Requirements

• Mortgage compliance experience or knowledge of field preferred
• Detail-oriented and strong organizational/project management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills to include oral and written communication
• Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.

• Prioritize workload and balance multiple duties
