The Flight Inspector (Jet) independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors.     We are currently looking for an experienced and highly analytical Inspector to join our Quality department. As an Inspector, you will perform preliminary, receiving, in-process, and return to service inspections of aircraft related components in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM’s), Service Bulletins (SB’s), Airworthiness Directives (SD’s), customer requirements, regulatory requirements, and Pacific Aero Tech internal FAA approved repair specifications. To excel in this role, applicants should be able to show great attention to detail, possess strong organizational skills, and be able to demonstrate the ability to interpret approved data such as CMM’s, SB’s, and AD’s.

    Here's What You'll Be Doing

    • Performing preliminary, in-process, final and return to service inspections.
    • Documenting inspection results by completing logs and reports.
    • Performing incoming inspection of purchased parts and materials.
    • Inspecting aircraft components to verify correct finish, configuration or other measurable or observable characteristics.
    • Performing and recording first article inspections in accordance with AS9102.
    • Assisting with internal and service provider external audits.
    • Following company Quality Management System and guides associates to the same.
    • Documenting aircraft’s products’ non-conformities using proprietary systems as appropriate.
    • Maintaining a thorough familiarity with the content of the company repair station manual and all subsequent revisions.
    • Remaining cognizant of all applicable CFR’s, most notable part 145; 121; 65 and 43.

    You Will Need These Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 6 months in window repair and overhaul.
    • Knowledge of FAA/EASA regulatory requirements.
    • Previously held or ability to acquire a Repairman’s Certificate under 14 CFR part 65.101.
    • A&P Certificate is a plus.
    • Experience using handheld measuring and testing devices e.g., digital multimeter, caliper, micrometers, radius gages, etc.
    • Experience in issuing FAA form 8130-3s.
    • Demonstrated ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft office products.
    • Must read, write, and understand the English language.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour
