Summary of Job: This position provides flight instruction to private pilot students and ensures that each student has a professional learning experience. This position is primarily focused for the summer of 2023 and other part-time flying opportunities that exist. If career advancement is of interest to you, previous CFI’s in this position have recently progressed to flying light twin, turbine and jet aircraft in our market.
Job Requirements: • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management. • Maintain cleanliness and general appearance for BAC aircraft. • Performs status checks and maintain updates for data bases that are installed in BAC aircraft. • Work with CSR to ensure proper billing and accounts receivables procedures are administered for all flights. • Maintain and grow solid lines of communication with the flight students and Lead CFI. • Coordinates schedules direct with students. • Monitor student activity and encourage inactive students/instructors toward flight hours and completion of curriculum. • Continue to grow a positive image in Bismarck and the surrounding region. • Responsible for compliance with all FAA, TSA and other regulatory agencies with respect to aircraft fleet, pilot staff, and other related operations. • May provide other contract pilot services within FAA regulations.
Skill Requirements: • Driver's license Required. • The following Pilot Certificates required: Certified Flight Instructor Certificate • Good customer service and phone skills. • Previous experience with Microsoft Office products. • Must have excellent communication skills orally and written. • Organizational and multi-tasking skills. • Proven track record of being accountable.
Additional Requirements: • Must be able to obtain Airport Security Clearance. • EOE. • Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required. • Hours are dependent on customer demand. • Wage Negotiable
