Flight Instructor instructs student pilots in flight procedures and techniques in ground school courses and flight training. Prepares lesson plans. Being a Flight Instructor evaluates and monitors students performance. This position is typically is represented by a senior level pilot. Additionally, Flight Instructor the compensation data does NOT reflect salaries of flight instructors from smaller local flight schools who typically work on an hourly basis and consider the accumulation of airtime the highest priority in their respective careers.     • Provides instruction in the CH-47D/F aircraft in all flight regimes in accordance with relevant Government regulations and manuals.
    • Assist the planner in the creation of collective training scenarios.


    Requirements:

    Experience Requirements:

    • 2000 total Pilot-In-Command flight hours with 500 hours in the CH-47D/F (CAAS)
    • 500 flight hours as an Instructor Pilot in the CH-47D/F
    • 500 Night Vision Device hours


    Educational Requirements:

    • Graduate of the U.S. Army CH-47 Instructor Pilot Course o Graduate of the U.S. Army Instrument Flight Examiners Course
    • High School Diploma


    Other Requirements:

    • Active Secret Clearance
    • Must be able to pass an FAA Class II Flight Physical
    • Must be able to pass an FAA Commercial Pilot's Certificate
