Flight Medic transports and transfers patients by aircraft and assesses the extent of an illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures to follow. Provides advanced life support care to patients who are ill and/or injured. Being a Flight Medic replenishes the aircraft with medical supplies after flights. Must be CPR certified. Additionally, Flight Medic requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to manager. Flight Medic's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. We are a flight school based out of Essex County Airport in Fairfield, NJ, in northern New Jersey, just outside of New York City.
Must reside in the NJ or NY area.

You are paid by the hour when working.
This is not a salaried position.
Minimum Requirements:
FAA Commercial Pilot's License ASEL and AMEL
Instrument Airplane
FAA Certified Flight Instructor Airplane (CFII preferred)
Previous flight instructor experience a plus.
Must be reliable, have good people skills and be current.
Weekend availability preferred.
Must meet one of the following criteria:
Be a US citizen
A US permanent resident
Have a valid work permit to work in the US.
A visa to reside in the US. (We would not be able to sponsor any CFI applicant for a work permit or a visa).
