Job Title: Product Technician– Second Shift Position
Full-Time from 2:30pm - 11:00pm - Rotating weekends
Department: Technical Services/Product Services
Reports To: Components and Inventory Control Manager
Summary
Perform special procedures necessary for processing of blood and blood components.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
Perform routine and special component manufacturing.
Manufacture various plasma products depending on current inventory levels.
Organize and rotate blood component inventory.
Label special products when needed.
Analyze and implement resolutions to problems encountered in component procedures.
Perform data entry for logging in components.
Stock supplies when needed.

Demonstrate a high level of customer service, teamwork, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Organizational Culture Responsibilities

Qualifications
Required:
· High school diploma or equivalent

· Lab work environment experience
· Blood center experience
