Flight Medic transports and transfers patients by aircraft and assesses the extent of an illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures to follow. Provides advanced life support care to patients who are ill and/or injured. Being a Flight Medic replenishes the aircraft with medical supplies after flights. Must be CPR certified. Additionally, Flight Medic requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to manager. Flight Medic's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     Duties are:
    The health care specialist provides emergency medical treatment, limited primary care, force health protection, evacuation in a variety of operational and clinical settings from point of injury or illness through the continuum of military health care and, as a field combat medic, provides emergency medical care/treatment at the point of wounding on the battlefield or to battle and non-battle casualties during wartime.

    Basic Qualifications:
    • Age - 17 to 34 years old.
    • Education - Current Senior in High School(HS), HS Diploma, GED, or higher.
    • Citizenship - U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident.
    • Submit to the background and medical screening.
    • Must meet Army height and weight standards.

    Benefits:
    Up to $40K bonus (Active).
    • Up to $115,000 for additional education benefits(Active).
    • 30 days vacation with pay per year(Active).
    • Additional living expenses for those who have dependents (Active).
    • Up to $20K bonus (Reserve).
    • Up to $70,000 for additional education benefits (Reserve).
