Flight Navigator locates the position of an aircraft and directs its course on domestic and international flights, using navigational aids. May require an associate's degree with at least 4 years of experience in the field. Being a Flight Navigator is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Flight Navigator performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. Often times, individuals that are involved in the justice system and have been incarcerated don’t have the necessary support systems in place to be as successful in the community as we believe they can be.
Our Navigator positions are based in the community and are essential members of the support team. Navigators will work with individuals enrolled voluntarily to our Behavioral Health for Justice Involved Individuals to help them create their care plan and develop goals around their mental health, substance use treatment, physical health, housing, etc. Navigators will help those individuals get connected to the services provided in the local community and will provide support and accountability to those individuals.

The Navigator is a paraprofessional who provides case management and system navigation for individuals with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. The Navigator engages, educates, and assists individuals served and provides referrals and coordinates access to treatment services and community supports.
