Flight Navigator locates the position of an aircraft and directs its course on domestic and international flights, using navigational aids. May require an associate's degree with at least 4 years of experience in the field. Being a Flight Navigator is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Flight Navigator performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. BASIC FUNCTION OF HOUSING NAVIGATOR:
Works to ensure access and participation of consumers in available permanent housing opportunities and ensure consumers remain stably housed. Supports the work of the Meriden/Middletown/Wallingford CAN coordination process.

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Social Work or Human Services or related field preferred. Similar combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience:
2 years experience in direct housing assistance services and building/managing relationships with community partners.

Must have valid Connecticut driver’s license and access to privately maintained vehicle.
