May require an associate's degree with at least 4 years of experience in the field. Being a Flight Navigator is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. This position will be responsible for planning, administration and management of the housing services program for TTES. The Housing Navigator’s main purpose is to work closely with TTES Manager, Lead Care Coordinator, and the County of Orange housing resources to develop individualized housing plans for TTES guests who are in desire of permanent housing. The TTES guest will receive services form this position once they have been assessed by the TTES care coordination team and show desire to move into permanent housing. The Housing Navigator will also work with local property managers and owners to find new partnership opportunities for homeless guests who have housing assistance or the income to sustain rent in their own residence. This position will work as part of a larger team within the appropriate housing groups and organizations, city and county governments to accomplish successful planning and placements.
