Staffing Coordinator for Westchester Manor Skilled Nursing Home in High Point
Purpose of your position:
The Primary purpose of the position is the compliance of staffing requirements for the skilled nursing home. Staffing must be based on the state requirements and company policy. Ensure adequate staff is on each shift to insure safe and appropriate care for residents.
Basic Functions: To handle the scheduling of staff in the skilled nursing home. Schedule vacation time off of staff member within the policy of the company and ensure adequate coverage is put in place so that understaffing does not occur.
Primary Functions:
Maintain a current list of all nursing employees with active phone numbers
Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars
Answer employee calls in regards to staffing issues/schedules. Prepare written correspondence if necessary.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma and/or GED and two years prior experience working as a scheduler or Staffing coordinator.
Physical Requirement:
Good mental and basic overall physical health. Position requires lifting of up to 10 pounds, bending, reaching , stretching, walking for varying distances, standing for periods of time, sitting, computer useage with good hand skills.
