Responsibilities

• Responsible to book the daily Cath Lab/IR schedule, utilizing the scheduling policy.
• Schedules cases according to the resources available, such as equipment, beds, and instrumentation.
• Coordinates cases with anesthesia, radiology, Diagnostic Interventional Services, Cancer Center, or respiratory therapy, and booking in the appropriate computer program area.
• Notifies the manufacturer representatives that cases are book that require their equipment or supplies.
• Verifies that inpatient/outpatient cases are book appropriately according to the CMS guidelines.
• Performs reception and secretarial needs for the Cath Lab/IR departments.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of medical secretarial training course or equivalent previous medical office experience
