Flight Training Coordinator jobs in Birmingham, AL

Position Responsibilities:

• Schedule and conduct onboarding and reoccurring training for employees (Full-time and Temp’s) on procedures, such as safety/PPE, quality, and operation tasks. This will include SOPs, work instructions and Job Hazard Analysis.
• Certify employees on equipment and keep record of their certifications.
• Create training reports, organize, file, and maintain training records for all hourly employees for Extrusion.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities assigned by their supervisor to provide feedback, operations knowledge and update training materials based on the results of the activities.
• Participate on the Safety Committee Meetings to address and communicate any floor need, concern and/or hazard that may need immediate or long-term actions.
• Support Data entry and Office administration tasks for the extrusion business – DMR creation, 5S & BBS tracking, and production labor reports and drive engagement.
• Help support the planning committee for events at the site.
• Must be able to help guide the training process for SME and develop processes to check for understanding.
• Must be willing to help take on auxiliary tasks needed to sustain the extrusion facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic PC knowledge including MS Office experience.
• 3 years of experience Must be able to follow procedures, best practices, and report unsafe behavior.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good communication skills (verbally and written)
• Must have flexible schedule to provide training and support on the three shifts that are currently available in the Extrusion production department.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work in a team as well as independently.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent§ Experience with Manufacturing
• Experience with New hire onboarding and Training systems.
• Experience in Extrusion
