Hatch Stamping Company is looking for a highly driven individual to fill the position of Training Coordinator. The Training Coordinator is responsible for supporting the training efforts at the Chattanooga location in support of the corporate-wide training program and strategies. Training Responsibilities
· Drive continual improvement on the production floor.
· Execute and maintain a structured training program, including on-the-job and classroom training.
· Provide train the trainer training.
· Assist in scheduling, organizing and measuring OJT training.
· Assist in process changes throughout the production facility.
· Build rapport with the team members from all levels of the organization.
· Manage and maintain training related data in Plex.
· Back-up Production on-boarding training, practical training and safety training when necessary.
· Writing standard operating procedures with the assistance of subject matter experts.
· Work with the corporate training team members to update training materials, provide input and executing overall vision.
Qualifications
· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
· 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting
· Proven work experience as a OJT Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
· Familiarity with training on the manufacturing floor
· Strong presentation, communication, organizational, team orientation and leadership skills
· Proven track record of demonstrated success
· Proficient user of Microsoft office suite of products namely PowerPoint, Word and Excel
· Knowledge of a MRP such as Plex
· Ideal candidate will have experience in stamping environment
· Knowledge/experience with TS 16949 and ISO
