    • Responsibilities:

      An Education and Training Program Coordinator typically:

      • Assists the efforts of the Program Director for the Division of Research, Education, and Training in providing relevant and timely education and training to Illinois criminal justice practitioners
      • Assists the Registrar and Program Director for the Division of Research, Education, and Training in managing and maintaining the Online Learning Network (OLN), a custom-built learning management system
      • At times, collaborate with academic and professional partners to work on development of curriculum
      • Assist with troubleshooting calls of the Online Learning Network helpdesk and internal calls
      • Assists with the twice-weekly upload of data from the OLN to the Law Enforcement Training Management (LETM) system
      • Participates in the planning, development, and implementation of seminars, executive summits, conferences and other educational programs
      • Assists with the development of course content for classroom and web-based learning modules
      • Develops and conducts needs analysis and assessments pertaining to current and emerging educational needs
      • Provides input into the development of strategic planning documents, procedures, and guidelines in support of activities of the division
      • Collaborates with staff in the planning of specialized programs and provide updates and reporting requirements
      • Responsible for the weekly ALERT email – inputting new, relevant information for the ILETSB Executive Institute audience.
    • Required Qualifications:

      CREDENTIALS TO BE VERIFIED BY PLACEMENT OFFICER:

      • Bachelor’s degree
      • (3) years’ experience in education, criminal justice, business or other like discipline
      • NOTE: Master’s degree in related field equates to one (1) year of experience
    • Starting Salary: $4,206/month
