This is a contract to hire Float Phlebotomist position!
Responsibilities:
- Perform blood sampling and specimen collection from patients in various settings, including hospitals and clinics
- Follow proper laboratory procedures for specimen processing and handling
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of clinical laboratory techniques to accurately collect and label specimens
- Adhere to aseptic technique to ensure the integrity of collected samples
- Record vital signs and patient information accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a phlebotomist
-6 Months of Phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of laboratory procedures
- Experience in blood sampling and specimen collection
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and proper handling of specimens
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately record patient information
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in various healthcare settings
Note: This position requires travel to different locations, as it is a mobile phlebotomist role.
