Float Analyst collects and analyzes information regarding float activities within an organization. Recommends necessary process changes to speed check processing and reduce float time. Being a Float Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Float Analyst typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Description
· This position exists solely to fabricate, assemble, and prepare products for market.
· Inherent requirements include, but are not limited to the following:
o Perform physical activity in a plant environment as described in an
o Demonstrate proficiency to read and consistently follow templates, engineering drawings, specifications and written work instructions;
o Coordinate fabrication, assembly and packing operations with co-workers/team, honoring stop/check points for supervisory and/or inspector review, to efficiently produce quality product, consistent with customer requirements.
o Operate a variety of powered mechanical and/or manual tools, including but not limited to buffers, sanders, grommet setters, punches, and other devices.
o Demonstrate ability to recognize adhesive characteristic, especially to honor stringent “pot life” limitations;
o Identify, select and apply specified fasteners and other necessary hardware;
o Use prescribed personal protective (safety) equipment, including but not limited to: respiratory protection, gloves, eye wear, and/or other devices;
o Communicate planned, ongoing or completed production activity to team supervision in a timely manner using appropriate process documents, travel cards, statistical process control charting or other advanced quality system data summaries which include all certified operator processes and ability to achieve and maintain a certified operator status.
o Prepare critically-required product samples at appropriate job steps;
Work extended or extra shifts, if customer requirements cannot otherwise be reasonably satisfied.
