Float Manager manages and leads a group of float analysts. Oversees information regarding float activities within an organization. Being a Float Manager designs and implements necessary process changes to speed check processing and reduce float time. Stays abreast of laws enacted by the Federal Reserve to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly. Additionally, Float Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Float Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Float Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Come lead our team at Float 207! We currently offer flotation therapy and have two infrared saunas. We are looking for an individual who shares our interest in personal wellness, with a drive to learn and be part of this emerging industry! This is a Full-time position. We are looking for someone to fill the management roll. Schedule will be weekdays with the majority of shifts being 9-5. Some flexibility is preferred when coverage is needed on a weekend. As Float 207’s Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the center, scheduling, and programs. You will also be responsible for recruitment, hiring, training and performance of the staff.
Core Management Functions
Employee onboarding, training, scheduling, & payroll;
Employee feedback and performance reviews;
Recommend improvements for training, and increased performance of our center;
Create and inspire a courteous, friendly, professional work environment, and manage positive team building;
Oversee supply stock and ordering;
Ensure that our center meets sanitary and health standards;
Informing the owner of areas that require attention;
Contribute to the planning, social media, marketing, and coordination of promotional events;
Fill any non-specialized roles when employees are absent.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business management or administration
Preffered Work Experience, but willing to train the right person:
Prior management role
Healthcare or spa-related experience
Skills in budgetary, projections, and cost control
