Floor Assembler jobs in Duluth, MN
Floor Assembler operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures. Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Being an Floor Assembler tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Additionally, Floor Assembler keeps daily assembly production records. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Floor Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

What an Assembler will do:
- Follow work instructions to produce quality product in a safe and timely manner
- Use various manual and pneumatic tools to fit components together
- Install parts and inspects work for quality
- Disassemble and reassemble, when necessary to ensure proper assembly of product
- Test or assist in testing operation of completed product
- Keep daily records of serial numbers and other paperwork#worknow
What you need to be an Assembler:
- 6-12 months of related experience in assembly, using manuals and pneumatic tools
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and letters/memos
- Ability to accurately record data and verify information
