Floor Assembler operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures. Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Being an Floor Assembler tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. Additionally, Floor Assembler keeps daily assembly production records. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Floor Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Works from computer generated pictures, wiring diagrams, simple drawings or sketches, engineering drawings, specifications and other written or verbal instructions to perform job functions. May be required to perform administrative, maintenance, stock duties and routing. May be required to perform additional duties/responsibilities.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Must successfully pass assembly training school.
May be required to lift/move heavy parts and/or equipment weighing up to 55 pounds.About the Company:
